Residents on a Lancashire estate have slammed house builders Redrow, saying roof tiles have fallen off homes they built for the third time in two years.

Barratt have not even completed the first house on the estate the are working on at Newbiggin by the Sea in Northumberland but alresdy have the residents of the only access road up in arms.
Somehow they were granted planning permission to build 44 houses on a small plot of land just behind the Front Street, it is surrounded on all 4 sides by houses, there is no viable access as the obvious access is owned by somebody who is determined not to sell it.
I am trying to highlight the problems of the residents who are trying to exist while Barratts do their worst.

Many people think a relatively easy option is to buy a new-build house as they expect to be able to move in on a set date and have no work to carry out to make it liveable.
This, in theory, means they should be able to calculate a pretty precise budget as they will not be expecting to cope with the cost of broken boilers and other unforeseen problems. Unfortunately this is not always the case, so it is vital to do thorough research before committing yourself to what, you hope, will be the home of your dreams.
