In this book,Ian describes his early days as a skinny youngster scoring goals for fun in his native North Wales,joining Chester as an apprentice in 1978 and eventually signing for Liverpool in 1980. Rushie took time to settle at Anfield and openly admits he would have gone back to Chester if he could,that's how much he disliked the club during his first two years there. Eventually he forced his way into the side,the goals started to flow and the rest is history.
