 Rating:  - Great for learnersAt the start fo my University degree, I really struggled with the Physics and Devices part of the course. This book really helped, it works through things at a fairly slow pace, with plenty of examples and diagrams. There are still some places where things can suddenly become complex, but provided you're concentrating properly and have read and understood what comes before, its easy enough. Rating:  - Excellent text for learning solid state devicesAs a chemical engineer, I was surprised how easy this text is to read. Anyone could pick up this book and understand solid state devices. From quantum mechanics to crystal chemistry to elecrtrical engineering, this text provides a student with everything there is to know about the engineering of solid state devices. I would read this book for fun!
