 Rating: - a beautiful tale!!as a student teacher i'm constantly looking for new stories and poems - i was delighted to come across this book and took great pleasure in reading it to my class. The children range from 4 to 7 but all loved the story. My animal mad year 2's thought it was brillant whilst the very youngest put it down to magic!! i would recommend this book to anyone with children of any age or those who are still young at heart!! Rating: - a lovely tale very well toldThis book is delightfully illustrated and lovingly told. it can be read as scary or as soothing as you choose. The beautiful illustrations show life in an Indian village, without any direct reference in the text. There is so much more to talk about than the story. I've come to Amazon to find out what other books there are in the series, because me and my two little girls (aged 2 and 4) want to read more and more of these and learn how different cultures view things that are common and everyday. Buy this book.
