![]() Rating: - Outstanding,a good fix for lace knitting junkies everywhereI came upon this book while trying to find lace shawl patterns for a very special baby. Sarah Don manages to evoke a love of fibre art in every word, with detailed, easy to understand instructions for every asspect of Shetland lace knitting, and even a potted methodology of Shetland spinning. The comprehensive pattern library, complete with instructions, would make even the most harden knitter drool over their design sheets. And for the more sane among us there are instructions for a variety of projects, from a beginners scarf to a complex shawl. Whilst not a book for the beginner knitter it is certainly a must have, not just for those interested in this beautiful art form, but, in my opinion, for knitters everywhere.
