 Rating: - A good algorithm reference for the technical programmer.Although it is aimed at the academic world, with the inclusion exercises at the end of each chapter, it is also a good reference for commercial programmers. The book covers a wide range of algorithm topics, starting from elementary data structures, through divide and conquer right up to NP and parallel systems. Each topic includes a mix of explanation, mathematical background and code examples. Only really for people who have a strong programming and mathematical background, it can get fairly technical in places. I thought this was an excellent book. Would have had five stars if the code examples hadn't trailed off towards the end.  Try searching the Internet for "Computer Algorithms: CC+ Version" or Ebay for "Computer Algorithms: CC+ Version".
