 Rating: - All you need to know in one small book.At a mere 80 pages long you could be forgiven for thinking this is a quick guide to hanging baskets...not so. This little book is stuffed to the gills with information from creating a basket, what materials/linings to use, through designing plantings and to where they should be placed. It even tells you exactly how many of each plant you will need to obtain the effects pictured...ideal for the less confident gardener. There are foliage baskets, flowering baskets, ones for spring, ones for summer, indoor baskets and so on. If all that isn't enough, there is a guide to maintaining your plants, pricking out, taking cuttings and avoiding problems. Filled with lovely colour pictures throughout, this book is of the standard you would expect from the RHS and should prove useful to beginners and old hands alike.
