 Rating: - A good all-round summary of basic lock-picking techniquesA fairly short book (less than 70 pages, and padded with big diagrams), but not a bad introduction to basic lock picking for all the common lock types. Good sections on making your own tools, including templates for basic picks and ward-lock skeleton keys, and a very good description of pin and wafer lock picking. The section on combination locks missed out the well-known probe method which is good for briefcases and some padlocks, and some of the more complex lock diagrams could do with better descriptions. Although it is US-published, the information applies pretty much worldwide. On the whole, a good all-round beginner's book, but not for the experienced picker.
