It is meant to be a basic book hence the name "Introduction" but it covers all the points in an easy to read and understand manner. Not technical enough or well enough 'respected' for yr 2 or 3 degree students really but does what it intends, introduces horse biology to students beginning higher education, worth having on your bookshelf. It could be an introduction for high-school students (or others with similar level of theoretical knowledge) with interest in horses and that needs / looks for an introduction in order to understand more specialized equine litterature.
