 Rating: - Excellent book - no indexThis is without doubt the best book written on the subject of house purchases in Italy. It shows deep knowledge of the history and culture of the country and the variety of its regional cultures. In all respects save one this is an improvement, if such were possible on the two previous ones. Unfortunately, however, this time there does not appear to be an index, and this is a big minus for any informative non-fiction work. I do not know who took the decision to remove the index, the author or the publisher, but either way this was a major error.  Try searching the Internet for "Buying a House in Italy (Buying a House In...)" or Ebay for "Buying a House in Italy (Buying a House In...)".
