 Rating: - A good startThis is essential reading for anyone who owns or is thinking of buying leasehold. If only I'd read it years ago - I didn't realise what rip off leasehold is. Kat Callo explains how we are still beholden to medieval leasehold laws which are unique to England & Wales, and then explains your options to make things a bit more tolerable. However there is one big problem with the book - a vital section is missing on applying to the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal for the 'Appointment of a new manager' (serving Section 22/24 notices). It is an easier alternative to the Right to Manage process. Can't understand why it wasn't mentioned in the book.
