 Rating: - Good but not greatFor the price this mic is pretty good. If you plan on using it just to chat online via skype or for online gaming, it'll get the job done and people should be able to hear you with no problem. However if you plan to use it for proper voice recording, I'd advise against it as you'll still get a good dose of background sounds. Rating:  - Awful!My advice with this mic is - beware! Even with the gain and volume on full I can barely hear anything said into this microphone. It only picks up sound if you make an extremely loud noise, which is just played back as a mess of loud sound. A real let down. Rating:  - Does what it says on the boxSet up is simple. Just plug the pink plug from the mic into the pink socket on your computer. It works. Nothing else to do. You might need to fiddle with the mic volume (from within Control Panel) to get best sound. I use mine for Skype and speach-to-text and it works well. Rating: - The less said the better!I have no words to describe how bad this microphone is, the instructions are abominable and the general setup is to be desired! after finally working the microphone sheared off the stand and the button fell off! Labtec should be ashamed of making such a abismal product. Rating:  - Good MicrophoneFor the money this microphone is quite good, the sound is loud and clear, and the heavy base is good as the mic doesnt continually fall over.
