 Rating:  - a false economy...I bought this toaster because it was a couple of pounds cheaper than the competition, but I think this was a false economy. The toaster looks nice, and is quite compact, but the slots are too small for a lot of bread types, they quite often don't fit in and if they do they stick out of the top meaning they have to be turned half way. Toasting quality isn't great, especially with frozen bread, which doesn't seem to toast around the edges. I'd recommend spending a couple pound more and buying one of the many toasters available for £20 instead of this one. I wish I had! Purchased for my elderly mother who has rheumatoid arthritis and needed a replacement toaster that was easy and simple to use. Unlike many others around .. this toaster doesn't have more option buttons than a Sky TV remote control! Toaster is of good weight and quality with basic and simple to use controls. Doesn't slide about the worktop like the cheap supermarket variants. You only get what you pay for! If you use large sliced bread such as a Warburtons Toastie loaf, the toaster slots aren't quite tall enough to accommodate the top few millimeters of a slice. This seems to be a common niggle with 2 slice toasters. However it's not really a problem and I would recommend the Kenwood TT320 920W toaster for it's simple no fuss operation and even browning of the bread on both sides. Excellent value for money! Rating:  - FrustratedJust got this toaster. Used it once, only to find that the slots aren't big enough for the bread made in our Panasonic breadmaker. Width is 4mm too short and the top of the slice is untoasted.
