 Rating:  - Great sound for the moneyWas very impressed when I plugged these into my TV. I recently bought a new 40" Sony Bravia W4500 which has very poor sound. I didn't want to invest in a home cinema system just yet and a friend recommended these to me. As long as you can hide the subwoofer (which is unsightly in a living room) out of sight.. this is a great product for the money. Audiophiles won't be happy of course but then what do you expect for the money. They sound great for Movies and PS3 Gaming. Rating: - Great speakers but don't expect magicAmazon feedback is great but when a product gets great feedback it's easy to asume your going to get something magical. I have had these speakers for a few months and the sound quality gets better - after abot 50 hours play. With my highly rated new 16gb Sony mp3 they sony ok, but with any laptop with an average to good sound card they do sound pretty amazing. I did have a pair of mordaunt short speakers (with a £750 seperates system)that sounded a lot better in terms of pure sound quality but this systems mix of sheer power and quality sound is to be admired. Also, in my experience only, high quality speakers are easily damaged at high sound levels - something this system can deal with. If you have the majority of your music on your laptop - you won't be disappointed. Rating:  - good speakers for the money,but not refined at all.I ve had a set of Logitech z3-e speakers for over a year and was (for the money) quite pleased with them and after reading some reviews for the Logitech z-2300 speakers i thought i'd treat myself and upgrade,and now im thinking that i shouldn't have bothered because the cheaper z3-e speakers sounded a lot more neutral than the z-2300s.The problem with these speakers is that there is too much bass and also the bass is just too muddy and boomy,not tuneful at all.a lot of other reviews of this product mention the power and how loud it goes but when you're listening to music on your pc most of the time you want quality and not quantity which you aren't getting here, although the built quality is excellent and you do feel that you are getting a lot for your money, its just they sound very brash,i cant even hear basslines on my tracks anymore just a horrible booming noise.If you've never owned a serious Hi-fi system or you like playing techno or minimal house really loud and you want some wall shaking speakers for your pc then maybe these are the ones for you,otherwise look elsewhere. all in all you do get what you pay for and despite their faults they are good value,and i probably would recommend these to some people ,though they wouldn't suit everyone...just don't build your hopes up. to sum up these speakers are good value for money though i just wish they spent more of an effort on the quality of the sound rather than just the quantity.and in my opinion the cheaper logitech z3-e speakers give out a much better sound and i really wish that i auditioned the Altec Lansing MX5021 before wasting my cash on these. UPDATE.. I ve had these speakers now for a few days and tried all my sound and eq setting and come to the conclusion that these speakers are no good,im sending these back and using my cheaper logitech z3-e speakers instead,they have a much punchier bass and a lot more musical. Rating: - be warned this is a huge thing!!!(pls excuese my poor english)once again i went for logitech product reason i chose these set are because my room is simply not big enough for z-5500 this z-2300 has a huge subwofer. general good sound quality, a little disappointed about the bass because it does not make any impact until you turn it about half way through. but i sort this minor problem out with some extra software to set up my sound card. price is a bargain as well.personally thinks this is the best 2.1 speakers you can get for value. Rating: - Couldn't ask for more...Firstly i would like to complement Amazon on a fantastic ordering system and delivery. Then the product its self; The Logitech Z-2300 are 100% the best speakers i have ever owned (and i've had many.) From the high's to the low's, the sound is crisp and clear and for a review on the bass, well i don't think you can get better for your money. I would recommend these speakers to anyone who wants Laptop/PC speakers and even better for Films and Gaming. I would also like to add that they are bigger than i thought, which in my case was a pleasant surprise but honestly, for Amazon's amazing price, these ARE the best speakers on the market for this price!
