 Rating: - great printer - fast, clear but scans limited to US Letter size, duplexer buggyOverall - great, would recommend and buy again, despite the issues. I use it loads via wired network connection, lots and lots of docs / web text etc. With the HP drivers installed, it reads my Compact Flash and other memory cards - they show up as a network mounted drive in WinXP. Minor issues: * max scan size is US Letter, so you have to scan an A4 page twice and then stitch it together in a graphics editor, or just lose the last 18mm of your A4 docs. * double-sided printing - (save paper!) I bought and installed the duplexer, and though it is recognised by the printer, I cannot get WinXP to print double-sided. Apparently a bug in the HP drivers, requiring a 50MB download, argh. Rating:  - Super sweet, this is an excellent product.HP sure know how to make decent printers. The Photosmart 2610 is a super sweet all-in-one product, that combines printing, scanning, faxing and copying all in one smart little bundle. There is even a multi-format media card reader built into the front, which makes it simple to copy images from digital cameras that use cards such as Secure Digital or Compact Flash. That said, I'm sure most printers on the market today can do this, so why should you buy this one? Well, what really impressed me was the fact that the Photosmart 2610 is a networked printed. Simply by plugging it into your IP network (RJ45 Ethernet) it can be used by any PC. Although HP bundle free client software, Windows XP discovers the device correctly and the Photosmart 2610 has an embedded web server, making it unnecessary to install anything at all. Configuration, management and operation can all be performed via the comfort of your web browser - sweet! Even accessing media cards is straightforward, as the Photosmart 2610 automatically shares them over the network. This printer is an excellent investment for the home or small office. Rating: - All I expected from an All In OneI wanted an all in one which included a fax. I have had mine now for about a year and had no problems whatsoever. It is extremely easy to use and the quality is very good. The price was also an excellent incentive - think I paid about £[...]. Rating:  - Great printer, poor softwareThis printer/scanner package appeared to have all the features I needed in one device, including printing, scanning and card reading. However I have been very disappointed by the poor quality of the software drivers included with it. Most notably, the printer drivers will only allow users with Administrator-equivalent rights to print or scan. So if you have a locked down work computer or if you surf the internet with limited rights (as you should to avoid virus infection), or have limited accounts for other users (even Power Users) on your system, then none of these users will be able to use the device. I logged a call with HP who told me that this was "by design". I am very disappointed that HP requires end users to compromise security in order to use their devices. Rating: - Sleek, and SophisticatedI got this yesterday, it's Easy to setup, it has more than i expected, i did not know it has fax capabilities and was impressed by this very happy with this printer combi, it has everything you will every need a handy card slot unit for digital cameras, so you dont need the pc to print photos off it also does photo sized pictures so if you want your holiday snaps printed off without having to get it developed its great for that.
