 Rating:  - unreliable to the extremeWe have owned this product for a while and have tried to give it a chance. However, the reading are so inconsistent, two immediate attempts with the same person and the scale unmoved can give readings a wild as 0.9kg apart. We ended up taking four readings, each time rotating the scales through 90 degrees and averaging out the results - not exactly convenient. Now the thing has decided that it will only give the weight reading without any personal data [or a figure closish to your weight] and if asked to measure under any of the programmed entries, just switches off - maybe the news is too bad that it doesn't want to tell me !!!! There appear to be too many experiences of similar issues to suggest that there is anything other than a fundamental problem. Rating: - Increasingly Grossly Inaccurate over a relatively short timeThese have gradually become more and more inaccurate over the last 2 years. My very cheap scales I nearly threw out when I got these, agree with the (presumably) accurate health club scales I use, plus some trousers I cannot wear when I am even a couple of pounds overweight, do fit me, when these scales say I am 7 lbs or about 3Kgs heavier than I think. Also the weight difference has been increasingly drifting heavier and heavier which suggests to me (I am an engineer) that this is a badly engineered piece of equipment. I should also add that my hgusband has also found exactly the same thing even though he is 30Kg heavier than me. For people trying to watch their weight this is disgraceful. Rating: - limited life scales??Worked fine for 14 months, then showed "LO". Replaced batteries, same again after 3 days, and again and again 6 times? £40 to replace scales that might last less than a year according to some of the other reviews. I dont think so! Rating: - Electrical fault?Others seem to have had this problem. The unit worked fine for about 10 weeks and then the batteries showed LO. We replaced them, but they only lasted three days. Thinking that the batteries were the problem, we replaced them again on Friday last. They are flat again this morning - (confirmed by AVO meter). The scale will have to go back, I think. Rating:  - Great facilities but brokeGreat facility to store data on 4 people - body fat, fat%, body water etc. I found it easyish to set up following the manual. Once set up it's easy to record your personal data and read it out again without the manual. Reliability - 2 buttons stopped working after 5 months. However I'm buying a new one and returning the old one to Amazon (at zero cost as postage is refunded too). That's how much I like it - let's see long the next one lasts!
