 Rating:  - DisappointedAfter spending ages trying to find the right vacum for carpets and hard floor that also dealt with pet hair i brought this one. I wish i had taken it straight back instead of giving it another chance after another. the hairs are just jammed round the rollers and all the vacum does is collect the hair together and then leaves them on your carpet in a clump...it will not suck up the hair. the only good thing about this is the stairs attachment which is brilliant and sometimes i used this on all my carpets but you can imagine the backache afterwards being on your hands and knees. im now looking for a new one so if anyone still wants a one you can have mine. Rating:  - Great ValueI bought one of these direct from Morphy Richards for a little over fifty quid and I think it's brilliant. I don't have a pet and so can't comment on the cleaner's ability for picking up pet hair, but for general family use it's great. It came with lots of extras, including a spare filter, small and large "turbo" heads (which have brushes as well as suction), an extra stretchy stair hose and the usual array of attachments which are stored in a drawer beneath the main body of the vac. It is lightweight and easy to manouever around the house, picks up what it needs to pick up on carpet and hard floors and can be turned down for upholstery and curtains. I can hardly fault this product other than to say the electrical cord could be a little longer (it's nearly 7 metres) and the attachments slightly tougher quality plastic, but I'm comparing these with an old Miele cylinder which was about four times the price! The dust container is very easy to empty and the filters are washable, plus you get two of them, so you don't have to buy any consumable supplies for it. I can't really think of anything else to say apart from I highly recommend it! Rating: - Suck it to me Richard!Well I have had my Performair for quite sometime now and it is a wow! Light and has loads of movement easy to use I am a wheelchair user with a lovely cat (who hates the vacuum) who tend to leave her hair all over the shop (usually on a new jumper I have just bought or something like that my power wheelchair cushion is her favourite that is made of memory foam stuff and you can gaurentee if I want to go out Jo's hairs will be on the cushion but this lovely Morphy Richards vacuum gets rid of the offending hairy bits! Easy to empty and it will pick up hairs as it says I was quite bemused by one reviewer who said she had to empty the vacuum for each room and was sending it back to the shop I thought well that just proves the vacuum does pick up stuff! If you want a light weight reliable mavoverable small vacuum that won't break the bank and that will leave your carpets floors and any other item that needs vacuuming this is the little fella to have. Well I like it anyway :-) Rating: - Pet hairs don't stand a chanceOnly used this vacuum cleaner about 5 times, and it sucks brilliantly. Pet hairs don't stand a chance. Best vacuum cleaner I have owned. Don't know whether it will still suck well in months to come, but it does come with a 2 year guarantee for parts and labour. Only gripe is that it is a bit louder than other cleaners I have used, but I can put up with that considering how well it picks up dirt etc! Rating: - Great Vacuum cleaner!I've just bought this model and I have to say it cleans perfectly. Don't understand why one reviewer has to empty out the container after every room....it's huge! There are loads of gadgets included like a seperate stair hose, a large and small turbo nozzle and the normal comination one. You'll receive a spare filter to be able to clean the used one and a bunch of air freshners. Took up a lot of dirt and pethair that my previous vacuum cleaner couldn't handle. Definitely higly recommended!
