![]() Rating: - Looking for a Ministry of Sound fitness DVD? LOOK NO FURTHER!Pump It Up The Ultimate Workout does exactly what it says on the box. Fantastic choreography to awesome club tracks, and Deanne Berry as the instructor has trained as a professional fitness instructor - and you can tell. Her moves are simple to follow - I only missed a few beats on the very first go - and she always encourages you to keep going and "go with your options"; both higher and lower intensity workouts are clearly demonstrated either side of Deanne. The Ultimate Workout has 5 sections and runs for about an hour and a quarter in total. Each of the main middle sections are 15 minutes each; ideal if you want just a quick workout to fit around your schedule. The first section is a warm-up, and the next 3 are where you will burn your calories! Aerobics first, then dance, then beatbox. The beatbox section I cannot praise enough, it's fabulous for getting rid of stress,as well as toning and losing inches. The aerobics section is very easy to follow and will really make you sweat, and once you master the moves in the dance section you won't stop, you'll be doing crazy legs at every opportunity! All 3 middle sections together make for 45 minutes of exercise that will raise your heart-rate, very beneficial. There is then a toning section (although called 'Below the Belt' is is actually excellent for thighs, bums, arms and abs) and then a very relaxing cool-down, including all important stretches so you don't ache too much the next day. Basically - if you're looking for a fitness DVD to do in your own home, look no further, you've found it. Rating: - Awesome WorkoutThis is an awesome exercise DVD, I have only had it a week and now my right forearm has increased from 8" diameter to over 12" diameter - 5 minutes is how long my workouts usually last and my heart is pounding after the first 30 seconds of so - fantastic stuff. Rating: - Experience and practice required....I have never done a Ministry of Sound DVD before so perhaps I was expecting something different but overall I was a bit disappointed - I enjoyed the warm-up and the 'Aeroburn' but found the Dance section (and to a certain extent the Boxing as well) very difficult to follow. I thought that with a lot of previous dance experience that I wouldn't struggle too much, but the routines are frustratingly complex and only briefly explained - several attempts and major concentration required. If you are looking for something that you can just power through and feel good afterwards, then this is probably not for you. Rating: - Wow! :)Deanne Berry is back! Yay! I've been doing these exercise routines about five times a week and I notice the difference because I lost so much weight..when I tried on my favourite jeans on, my legs and waist are getting thin. Yay! I love the Beatbox section..it blows my away also I enjoy doing Aeroburn section for Friday if I'm not going out clubbing or something I just love to keep it up and do Aeroburn on Fridays. lol The cool down is so peaceful as well. Last time when I start this fitness DVD I was thinking that who doing the easy routine...and I caught my eye on that lady (the one who's wearing orange boxing shorts) so it was easy for me to do it for a two weeks and after that I'm getting much fitter than before doing like the others are doing. This workout is so amazing! Buy it! Rating: - Good for Calorie BurningNot half as annoying as I thought it would be, sure the instructor is all teeth and cheese, but she's a good instructor nonetheless. I ignore the dance section and any clapping as I feel stupid doing that on my own in front of the tv and although she might feel sexy in her weird one piece homage-to-elvis outfit, I don't feel quite so in my tracky bottoms and scummy top dripping in sweat. That aside, If you want a great and challenging aerobics workout to feel-good music, then this is the DVD for you, I combine it with my Davina DVD as her longer toning sections in High Energy five are great after this DVD's warm up and aeroburn section (Davina's warm up and aerobics sections are very boring by comparison)or some days I just do the aerobics or boxing section on this DVD and then other days I'll do one of the 30 minute Davina from her other DVD - Power of 3. I find that way I don't get bored and over the week I get a good all over workout. The only downside to this DVD is that although the 4 girls are attractive - there is no 'eye candy' for women - the one weedy looking guy is not really on the same level - you'll see what I mean.
