Editorial Review: Product Description: Uniross Hybrio Rechargeable AA The Instant battery, supplied charged Ni-MH 2100mAh 4 in Pack Ref 120012 Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Check reviews for relevance; this is a great product! These batteries are great. I have used them for some time now on my high-powered Nikon flash. Just make sure you get the 2,100mAh (high-capacity). NiMH rechargeables are fine when just charged, but discharge within a few days. The Hybrios are working even after 2 or 3 months, which is a zillion times better than NiMH's. Reviewers moaning about thew fact that the Hybrios did not arrive fully charged are reminded that if they have been in storage for some time they will be partially discharged. You will use these for years to come, so fully discharge them when they arrive (eg with a torch or a RC toy car), then fully charge them and off you go. Rating: - Misleading cost -- beware the shipping chargesThese batteries look like great value (currently £1.99), but only because the shipping charges are outrageous (£4.50 per pack). After you've factored in shipping, you're likely to be able to find them cheaper elsewhere, especially if you're buying a few packs. Rating: - best rechargeable AA I've usedI've bought about 5 packs of these so far, and I think they're great and I plan to replace all my batteries with these. I use them mainly in my Canon 580 EX-II flashgun. The spare sets in my camera bag lasts for weeks without problem. Using them in a nightlight for the kids room lasts a couple of months, whilst an ordinary set of (higher capacity) NiMH would normally last a week. Regardless of the batteries you use, I highly recommend getting a decent charger than monitors the batteries though during and stop when fully charged, otherwise you can easily damage the batteries by over-charging. Damaged batteries will have shorter shelf life and lower capacity. Rating: - Not up to spec1. Out of 8 batteries bought none were charged on arrival. 2. After recharging with Uniross charger sold with them none had shelf life longer than 1 month. 3. These are a great disappointment. Rating: - Solid performers a caveatI bought these for the shelf life, despite them being higher price than some other rechargeables; this is all well and good but I noticed the packaging also pushing the instant charge in that out of the packet they could be used! Well be warned, I bought a new camera and naively took a pack of four of these to the football only to find that between four batteries I couldn't take a single shot. My advice is good on the shelf life, but always charge first! Try searching the Internet for "Uniross Hybrio 4 AA 2100mAh Batteries" or Ebay for "Uniross Hybrio 4 AA 2100mAh Batteries".
