 Rating:  - Very Poor Power RatingAt first sight a great product that enables you to connect an appliance to the mains anywhere in then world and has the useful option of a USB charger. This travel adapter has a power rating of only 550w at 220v and a tiny 275w at 110w. It has label specifically warning that it must not be used for hair driers. I thought I had found a Unversal Travel Adapter - this is not it!! Rating:  - Useful and reliable travel companionHaving travelled numerous times between Britain and the Continent I had had a few single adapters for either systems. A big downside was that I tended to forget them wherever I went. Not with this one. A friend of mine bought it for me when she finally got fed up always getting me new adapters whenever I visited and I haven't lost this one since then. It's been a few years now and has been very reliable. It's also easy-to-use. The way you can choose with a simple move the correct plug-setting is actually quite intriguing and I have sat several times looking at this adapter in the plug and wondering how nice it would be to go to all these countries just to test the device!
