 Rating: - A wonderful final seriesThis, the fifth and final series of The Detectives contained some of the very best episodes, including Cardiac Arrest where the hapless duo have to guard an armed robbery suspect in hospital and fall prey to Louis' hypochondria as well as The Beast Of Hackney Marshes - the best episode ever where they try and track down the source of mysterious goings on in the Marshes and spend the night there with Nozzer, the uniformed sergeant wonderfully played by Tony Selby. Unlike many other comedy series, the final series of this wonderful show went out on a high and is defintely recommended to all. As a bonus, it also includes the 1997 Christmas Special Go West Gold Man which concluded the series in great style.
