Editorial Review: Amazon.co.uk Review: Robert Downey Jr. has never been more charming than in this comedy about a yuppie who is revisited in adulthood by the spirits of four people who had been his friends as a child. The ghosts (Kyra Sedgwick, Charles Grodin, Alfre Woodard, Tom Sizemore) all have unfinished business in this world before they can move on to the next, and Downey's character agrees to let them inhabit his body while they sort it all out. The appealing cast alone strongly recommends this movie, but Downey's remarkable facility for physical comedy--manifesting the personalities of his supernatural pals as they possess him--is a riot. Elisabeth Shue makes the best of her part as the hero's girlfriend; Leaving Las Vegas was still ahead of her, but one can see her talent straining to get out here. --Tom Keogh Average Rating:
 Rating:  - Great Family Movie - its that green bus one, remember!This is a wonderful family movie, essentially a comical, ghostly romantic comedy whose theme involves a group of souls all killed in a bus accident who have unfinished business in this world and need to inhabit the body of someone born at the time of their death (Robert Downey Jr's character Thomas, who has grown up to be a yuppie) before they can pass on. They have to remain invisible and wait until he has grown up before they realise their purpose and the signal for their time being up on completion of their business is the arrival of the original but now ghostly green bus which rolls up to take them on their final journey just when they would rather stay put - a great touch and very cleverly filmed as well. A charming and wonderful performance from RD Jr, more than ably supported by Charles Grodin, Alfre Woodard, Tom Sizemore, Kyra Sedgwick and Elizabeth Shue et al. Classy cinematography and the transfer and sound (inc 5.1 DD) on this anamorphic widescreen release are excellent. Great fun for all the family with a high feelgood factor. Youngsters will love that bus! Rating:  - Feel Good Movie with great castThis is a really good film to watch with the family. There is no violence, swearing or inappropriate behaviour. The cast are all excellent and well directed. It is a real heart warmer which will also make you smile. I confess to still getting tears in my eyes during one scene no matter how many times I have seen it. And the way Robert Downey Jr takes on the characters of his ghost friends is superb and very funny. This is a film that I will never tire of watching because there is so much to it. Rating:  - WHERE IS IT !!!i ordered this item 2 weeks ago and it still hasnt been despatched. it should of been despatched a week ago. still no joy. im not impressed Rating: - Excellent Feel-Good Movie & Great CastThis film has only been available on Region 1 NTSC for quite a while, but now at last on Region 2. If you haven't got a multiregion player this film is worth the wait. The beginning can seem a little slow but it turns into one of the best feel-good movies I've seen. Very good casting, in particular Robert Downey Jr, who can act the pants off most male actors, & great direction makes this film a entertaining & worthwhile purchase.
