 Rating: - Superb piece of kit!.This circular saw is just brilliant!. It's powerful enough to do most jobs, but lacks the power whereby the novice user can't do any serious damage to themselves, for example, should the blade snatch. It's quiet in operation and replacement blades are cheap to buy. Even with the battery pack, it is not heavy nor cumbersome. Fully featured angles, depths, plunge cuts, etc, are all on this machine. Well worth the money. Standard battery gives about an hour's worth of work, so you will need additional batteries or the new but pricey Li-On battery pack. For the home DIYer, this is great. Even for some Pro's for emergency use off site or the occasional job where there is no mains power. I actually prefer this DC model to the more powerful AC model. To cap it all, this machine will not win wars, but it will win many battles.
