Editorial Review: Product Description: The colourful, light and easy-to-use Creative MuVo T100 has been designed for work and play. It works like a USB flash drive, without cables - just plug it into a PC or laptop and then drag and drop your music to it for entertainment on the move. You?ll be able to store up to 2,000 songs on its internal memory, play MP3, WMA, WAV and Audible music, plus store other digital files for backup. The MuVo T100 also has a special Bass Boost button ? just push to add extra impact to your listening! Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - fantastic - if you can do without a screenI was totally fed up with mp3 players freezing up. Especially with radio podcasts which can go on for a couple of hours or more. This was my last shot and after 6 months or so, this little gem has never given any trouble - even after being left in my work jeans, put in the washing machine and going through the longest wash cycle and a 1200 spin for luck. Ok, it's not got a screen, but I'm used to that now. Highly recommended. Rating: - a mobile player that frankly isn't mobileI have two creative zen's and bought two more for friends, so I am not hostile to the company as such. But this is ridiculous. The USB cap flies off at a moment's notice, and there is no realistic way of attaching it, besides (as I've done) with glue and thread. A minor but significant annoyance. The more serious problem is that the battery life drains away fast, and there seems no way to prevent it. It is possible to turn the thing 'off', but experimentation has proven that it still burns power in this state. Sad that there is no 'hard' switch for doing such a simple job as disconnecting the power. Sad, that is, until you realise there is a hard switch for switching between shuffle and non-shuffle modes! What kind of hipster mutant is more concerned with shuffling than turning things off and on? Otherwise, price good for clear sound and more storage than you'll need. Another serious good point to most Creative USB players is that you can store anything on them. So mine functions as jukebox and briefcase. Rating: - Best simple mp3 playerI have had my muvo 4gb for a while now, and it is by far the best mp3 player on the market. The storage space is huge and more than enough for any journey either commuting or for longer journeys, and the battery life is more than enough, unless you're travelling abroad you should be able to get access to a usb port to charge it if you need. The sound is excellent through a decent set of earphones, I replaced the supplied ones with a set of Creative's Creative Labs EP-630/A Earphones (under £7 on amazon) and the sound is excellent much better than any ipod, they also come with three sets of earbud rubbers in different sizes, so experiment for comfort and sound if you get a set of these earphones . The base boost function, I have found, is not even needed for most of the music I listen to, but when it is, only the first level is needed (There are three levels off, 1 & 2 you press the button until you get the desired level). As to the lack of a display screen, so what, if you put the music on to it yourself you should be able to recognise it as you scan through, if you can't then you have problems my friend. The albums are in alphabetical order, if as I have done you use windows media player and set it up to create a file hirachy on the player. The last good thing about this player is the price, you will not get this quality for this price from any other company and I would recommend anyone thinking of purchasing an mp3 player to get one of these. Rating: - Perfect for Gym1 - This does not have a screen. 2 - This does not need batterys as charges off USB. 3 - You can forward skip by track or album. 4 - Perfect for running / Gym work. 5 - I'd suggest getting the sennheiser headphones as the ones supplied aren't that good. Rating: - Are we on the same page?I bought this piece of junk based on the reviews I read here, and I've had nothing but trouble. I could load it easily, true, using media player, but then as soon as the device switches off I lose everything stored on it. Now it has 3 GB of music on it when I use explorer to look through, and says it has nothing when I try to play it. I used their website and downloaded the recovery tool, but nothing works. When they work, sounds like they're cool, but I must have got a duff one, because it's crap.
