 Rating:  - Absolutely love it!Two days after buying my iPod Touch I listed my PDA for sale on eBay; as well as playing music this little beauty does everything I ever used my PDA for. It synchronises perfectly with Mail, Calendar, Contacts and Safari on my Mac ... all through iTunes which is so easy to use. The storage space is perfect for what I use the iPod Touch for. Where the 8GB and 16GB models are a bit too small in my view as I like to carry my music collection with me on my travels. But that's just my view. It also does video play back, although some would argue that there are better portable video players around. But as I quite frankly have no intention to ever watch video on the go on a screen this size this is not a problem at all as far as I'm concerned. When Apple recently released the latest version of the software for iPod Touch and iPhone this device suddenly became a lot more versatile. You can now download applications and games for the iPod Touch, and personally I quite like the odd game of Brain Challenge or Sudoku during my daily commute to the office. The only downside to the iPod Touch is that I still have to carry a mobile phone with me. But until such time as the iPhone becomes available with 32GB memory and I can get on Vodafone or T-Mobile without having to pay a small fortune in monthly charges I'll quite happily stick with the iPod Touch. As always with Apple iPod products the ear phones included can at best be described as adequate so investing in a decent set of 'cans' is almost a must. This is really the only thing that stops me giving this product 5 stars. Rating:  - Beware the 2.0 update!This is a fantastic device, and great with the 1.4 software as shipped, but bear in mind, that access to the App Store and Exchange email will require the 2.0 update at additional cost - it's not shipped with the device. Rating:  - Apple TaxNew Apple iPod touch 32GB Bought a very expensive NEW ipod touch. Very nice piece of kit. Not stated that it did not have the latest software update. Now installed at a cost of £5.99. Apple never cease to amaze me the extent they will go to fleece the punter. We have income tax and VAT and now we have to pay the "Apple Tax". Rating: - A little marvelBelieve me when I say I've never gone on-line to write a review for a product before - but this little box of tricks is a real revelation and worth a few words. I angsted about buying the ipod Touch since the day it was annouced but something held me back - not least the price. But with the introduction of 32GBs of memory (29GB in actuality) which as a broad spectrum user of music,video and photos was a sensible storage capacity PLUS the addition of the third pary apps (many of which are excellent and often FREE) and the ease of access to a growing bank of films I could hold out no longer. What a brilliant decision. It really is a joy to use. Technophiles might argue about capacity, degree of audio splendour or any other element of the product that they can find time to pick over. I'll just say that holding it in your hand (enclosed in a Belkin case) it really feels like we're living in the future! Rating:  - Only good for musicI'm sorry but can anyone explain how to access the Internet and link up to my e mail on this stupid thing. Even in an open access wifi area, Safari won't work. It just says 'cannot link to server' I've tried it in the UK and the US - same result. Do I have a duff machine? And as for linking to my wireless router at home, it asks me for all sorts of stuff that you need a degree in computing to understand. Sorry, it really is rubbish (though a good basic MP3) and I'm sorry I bought it.  Try searching the Internet for "New Apple iPod touch 32GB" or Ebay for "New Apple iPod touch 32GB".
