Editorial Review: Product Description: 4GB Freecom USB 2.0 Databar/ Pen Drive Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Excellent Service for an Excellent ProductI just received my Data bar today and which is the day before the delivery estimate which is incredible. I am truly amazed at this product I have already password protected it and included my ''lost and found'' information which is new for me. to add on I have already added about 7 films on to it which altogether took less than 5 mins and they are big files. Never the less I have still got 2GB left which is incredible. I am very pleased with this product and should have purchased it earlier. Brilliant!!! Rating: - Freecom - Trial VersionI got the trial version, is this right, does it come with a licence that I can't find, very frustated Rating: - BrokenWorked great for a while and then for no reason, it died. Now it cannot be read by any computer. Maybe thats why it is cheap. Unacceptable really. Would not recommend. Rating: - Excellent product - good value for moneyI bought this USB stick a couple days ago. So far it's been working as it should. It's very small and lightweight. The cap is securely attached, so it doesn't fall off. The USB stick didn't need a system reboot (I have windows xp professional edition) and worked on every single computer I tried instantly (even mac). 4GB is also a lot of space, which I truly need, so this is pure value for money. I'm extremely pleased with the warranty of 1 year (and hope I won't need it). So far, there hasn't been any drawbacks. There is some free-trial software on the stick, which I haven't had the time to check out yet - so I can't comment on that. Unfortunately the stick isn't password protected but you can download data protection software from the internet and encrypt all sensitive data on it, so that could save you the extra pounds you'd be required to spend on a USB stick with password protection. I'd definitely recommend this product because it's just pretty, does what it's supposed to do and seems very robust and reliable - and don't forget the cheap price. Rating: - Bad product 1 star (and its lucky to get that)The product will only allow me to use 8mb of space and frankly thats awful, i bought a 4gb version because i needed plenty of space and yet i get 1 five-hundredth of the advertised space, NOT GOOD.
