 Rating:  - on the wayI have resently ordered the alpha 200 but amazon dont show it bieng traked on order traker, i bought the alpha used from a different company and i bought the lowepro bag straight after and asked me if i wanted a duplicate order.help!!!!!!!!!! Rating: - Now I see the differenceWhen I first got this I started thinking "What have I done.". A lot of cash for a camera. This being my first DSLR I expected all the features etc, but being for a new hobby it seems quite expensive for the quality of picture. Then I started zooming in on the photos and now I see the difference. Having used cameras with x megapixels before i was aware that this is not a good way of rating a camera. Its ability to focus under different conditions and take clear pictures is paramount and is made all the more easier with quality equipment. I cannot compare this to other DSLR cameras, I do not have the experience, but I am now very happy that I decided to pay a bit more for a piece of kit that will give me many hours of happiness. Rating:  - Used it for the first time today 29 11 08Took Delivary of my new Sony A200k a couple of days ago and have used it for the first time today (29/Dec) I must admit I nearly didn't buy one as I was sold on the Fuji 9600 to begin with, not wanting to take the full leap as it were! I ended up on my first shoot taking over 50 frame in relativly low light with stunning results. The mist was just looming over Loche Erne (NI) and it was very eerie, the detail was pretty good since it was only in auto and I hadn't had time to play around with it. The colours of Autumn were very rich in browns & gold, a bit of a tapestry. The shots were very crisp at full zoom, only wish I had bought a longer lense to acompany the package. The controls were a bit fiddly to begin with but soon got the hang of it and I did'nt even read the manual. It's early days but I think I have got a damm fine camera! Regards Jon B, Northern Ireland Rating:  - Creaking lensUnfortunately, the lens reveals how the camera can be sold so cheaply. The made in China lens Lens kit on the A200 creaks when rotating the zoom. I returned the camera thinking this was a fault. But the second camera does the same. Not what I would expect of precision made equipment, come on Sony. Rating: - Brilliant Camera. Pity about...............Brilliant camera - brilliant pictures in RAW format but let down by the image conversion software supplied on disc with the camera. Sony help line about as good as their software !! Pity really otherwise would have given the complete package 5 stars.
