David Wilson Homes - Professionalism all the way!! - 2008/04/14 16:23When I was looking at buying a David Wilson Home, I done the obvious and Googled them to see what was out there on the world wide web about them - needless to say once I found this website I did panic a bit, but them realised that people only tend to write on these type of things if they want to slate people.....So, im going to break to mould and tell my HAPPY story of my David Wilson Home. My boyfriend and I have been in the house a few weeks now. We have a good relationship with the sales person and also know the site Manager and Assistant site manager by name and can walk up to them in the street and chat away to them!! We did have a few wee niggles, our sink in the kitchen wouldnt flush away. We went to the sales office on the Sat morning, told them it wasnt an emergency as we werent yet occupying the house, but they insisted they got it sorted straight away and had someone there to fix it within the hour. It was simply that they hadnt covered my outside drain whilst harling the house - a simply flush with some huge plumger type thing and problem solved. These people are only human and can make errors!! We handed our snagging list in to them on the Saturday morning and the painter was round first thing Monday morning and spent all day with us going over all the imperfections - mostly caused by us moving our furniture in!! The place was perfect when he left and he even tidied up behind him!!
I have no doubt at all that there are some unfortunate people who get hell through their new house, but we have not had a problem with them and would certainaly consider buying another one of their houses!!
