Site Record Book - 2007/02/20 00:55 From this publication, what do you think is my best route to take to try and get a view of the site record book for the development i live on. The site is now closed.
I was going to ask the regional office of the builder.
If they refuse, could i ask to see it under the Freedom Of Info Act ?

Re:Site Record Book - 2007/02/20 22:03 Good luck I guess the record keeping is absolutely atrocious and it probably ended up in a skip when they moved off site. The NHBC should have the same information, but as they and the builder are not public bodies they are not bound by the FOI regulations. It could be requested by a court as evidence to support any action against the builder or the developer... I suppose the best thing would be to simply ask, what have they got to hide? Nothing hopefully

Not much help

Tony
