Well it seems Crest have now changed their minds. They phoned to confirm our completion date yesterday for 5th October 2006. But when I mentioned snagging they said it was against policy and I should not have been told it was ok. After talking with 2 different people on the matter they have completely ruled out us having a snagging inspection carried out before we move in. A couple of weeks ago, my wife and I visited the Persimmon Homes Admiral Heights Estate in Rosyth, north of Edinburgh. We'd been looking at a few houses on the market, and just vaguely thinking about moving from our (100 year old!) house near the centre of Dunfermline. The kitchen guy is here but he can't do everything today; he hasn't got time (he's replacing the guy that called in with a bad back apparently), and he's confused about whose responsibility it is to wire-in the hob and the oven.
