Since then we have had problems with internal and external cracking which for four years Persimmon refused to take seriously or investigate the root cause. The NHBC were contacted and eventually independent engineers were appointed to monitor the house. The house has moved and continues to do so due to clay heave.

Persimmon Homes has been fined thousands of pounds after polluting a river in West Yorkshire. Persimmon Homes (West Yorkshire), based in Fulford, York appeared before Calderdale magistrates on Friday, January 26 and admitted two charges of breaching its Consent to Discharge permit by polluting the River Ryburn. The company was ordered to pay £1820.48 court costs.
