The Leasehold Advisory Service
If you have a problem regarding your lease (ie a long lease, as opposed to an assured or rent act tenancy), this should be your first port of call. It is an independent advice agency which provides free advice. The web-site has information about the service and a number of extremely helpful articles and reports.
